Kenan Turkmen

Kenan Turkmen was born in 1975 in Konya, Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences. He started his art studies after meeting Erol Denec during his university years. The artist has no formal education in art. Under the leadership of Erol Denec, he took part in the founding of the IFAR (Istanbul Fantastic Reality) group with artists working in a similar style. He participated in many exhibitions with the group. The artist lives and works in Helsinki Finland since 2005.
